The bishop was pleased to spend some time in Fort Chipewyan with members of the community.  He participated with the work bees in St. Paul’s to help with cleaning up the church after it was vandalized.  The Rev. Fr. Leon Cadsap has shared pictures of the time spent there.  The people helping were Freda Fraser, Lucy Fraser, Ruthann, Rev. Fr. Leon Cadsap and the bishop.

All Saints Fort McMurray gifted a picture of All Saints to the ladies of the Ukrainian school as a gesture of our support for the Ukrainian community. They utilized our church facilities for one school year when they launched their Ukrainian school, and they have now secured a new location for their developing program. They also provided food following the Holy Eucharist on October 6, 2024.

Pastor Appreciation Day 2024 is on Sunday, October 13, 2024 and the entire month of October is known as Pastor Appreciation Month.  This is a special time for the church to honour and celebrate our spiritual leaders who minister to us and guide us through life’s ups and downs.
