Prayer for the DioceseHeavenly Father, We thank You for the many blessings You have bestowed upon the Diocese of Athabasca. As we gather for our Diocesan Synod, we ask for Your guiding presence in all our conversations, decisions, and fellowship. Fill our hearts with love, patience, wisdom, and a spirit of unity as we seek to follow Your will. Grant safe travels to all who journey to and from Synod, and bless those who offer hospitality and serve behind the scenes. May old friendships be renewed, new friendships blossom, and the peace and shalom of Christ be shared among us. As we return to our parishes and communities, inspire us to carry Your love, hope, and joy into all that we do. May Your Holy Spirit continue to guide and strengthen our diocese in the days ahead. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, we pray. Amen. |

Prayer for the Diocesan SynodHeavenly Father, As we gather for our Diocesan Synod, we thank You for bringing us together in faith, fellowship, and love. We ask for Your protection over all who travel, that they may arrive safely and return home renewed in spirit. Fill our hearts with Your peace, our minds with wisdom, and our conversations with kindness and understanding. Help us to listen with open hearts, respect one another, and seek Your guidance in every decision we make. May this Synod be a time of joyful reunions, new friendships, meaningful conversations, and renewed commitment to serving You. Guide us as we work together for the good of our diocese, our parishes, and the communities we serve. May the shalom of Jesus Christ surround us, unite us, and inspire us to share His love with others. In Jesus’ holy name we pray. Amen. |
