Prayer for the DioceseGracious and loving God, we give you thanks for the many blessings you have given us and for the people, parishes, and communities of the Diocese of Athabasca. As we prepare for our Diocesan Synod, guide all who are planning and all who will gather. Bless also the National Anglican Church Women’s Conference, and all those travelling and coming together in fellowship, worship, and service. May each person throughout our Diocese know the depth of your love in all that they do. Fill our hearts with your grace, so that we may share your love freely through our words, our actions, and our care for everyone we meet. Keep us thankful, faithful, and always mindful that all we have comes from you. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. |

Prayer for the Diocesan SynodGracious God, as we prepare to gather for our Diocesan Synod, fill each person with your peace and guide us by your loving hand. Draw us together with open hearts and minds, ready to listen to one another and to hear what you would have us hear. Protect all who are preparing and travelling, and bless the work that lies before us. May all that we say and do be guided by your Spirit and done to your glory. Amen. |
