Diocese of Athabasca - Diocesan Synod - 1914

I was looking for information for the 50th Anniversary and ran across this newspaper article. If the archives doesn't have a copy, it might want to include it.

There is a picture of the attendees at the 1914 Synod at St. Peter's Anglican Lesser Slave Lake (Grouard/Buffalo Bay). The train was not operating until 1915 - so it would have been a long trip to attend the Synod meeting.

The bishop and his wife took the time a couple of years ago to search out this building, it was still standing and there is a bit of history there.
