Almighty God,
we give you thanks for the gift of this season of harvest and change.
Bless our diocese, its people, clergy, and leaders,
that together we may find joy in following Christ.

Grant us good weather, that the land may yield its fruit,
and keep us mindful stewards of all you have entrusted to us.
Pour out your Spirit of peace,
that we may live in harmony with one another,
and share your love in our communities.

Give us thankful hearts for daily blessings,
and the courage to serve you with gladness.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Parishes of the dioceses of Athabasca and Edmonton are invited to observe September 21 as Alongside Hope Sunday. As they did last year, diocesan reps are preparing resources, including a sample Order of Service for parishes to use, if they so choose. Donation envelopes and additional resources will be mailed to parishes from the Synod Office. Watch this space for updates!

All people are invited to attend and fill the church with song, peace, and hope. Everybody is encouraged to share the date & time of this Funeral Service as much as possible, to see if we can bring people out of the woodwork and fill the church to remind them about God. Jeannette would really like that.

Jamie McIlvenna will be ordaned as a deacon on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at All Saints', Fort McMurray.  The Eucharist service begins at 10:30 am.  All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

We have 20 white gowns, 3 maroon, 3 black and 10 blue gowns and wondering if any of the other church’s in our diocese would like any of them.
