Prayer for the DioceseGracious and loving God, As we celebrate Thanksgiving, we give you thanks for the many blessings you have poured into our lives—for family and friends, food and shelter, the beauty of creation, and your never-ending love and care. We pray for all who will be travelling this weekend to gather with loved ones. Grant them safe journeys, joyful reunions, and precious time together. Help us to be grateful for all we have received and generous in sharing our blessings with others. May our hearts always be filled with thanksgiving and praise to you. Amen. |

Prayer for the Diocesan SynodGracious and loving God, As we prepare to gather for our Diocesan Synod, we ask for your protection over all who will be travelling. Grant everyone safe journeys, remove any obstacles that may prevent them from attending, and bring us all safely together. Prepare our hearts and minds to be open, loving, and positive, always seeking your guidance and what is best for our Diocese. May our time together be filled with meaningful conversations, wise decisions, joyful fellowship, and the blessings of old and new friendships. Help us to share the shalom of Jesus with one another, bringing peace, love, understanding, and unity to all we do. May everything we say and do be for your glory. Amen. |
