Prayer for the DioceseLoving God, we lift up the Diocese of Athabasca this week . We pray for Bishop David Greenwood , along with all clergy, lay workers, and parish families across the region. Strengthen their hands and hearts to share Your Word with bold love . Provide for their needs, protect those who travel, and guide the diocese as they prepare for the upcoming Synod. May Your light shine brightly in their communities, bringing hope, compassion, and strength to everyone they serve . In Jesus' name, Amen.

Prayer for the Diocesan Camp 2026Heavenly Father, we lift up to You the campers, leaders, and families as they prepare for the Diocese of Athabasca camp . We pray for a time of deep spiritual growth, fellowship, and transformation. Give the organizers and volunteers wisdom and patienceas they prepare. We pray also for Your protection over everyone traveling to and from the camp . Bless this community with unity, safety, and refreshing rest, so that each person leaves feeling valued and built upon Incredible Love daily. We ask these things in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

2026 Request for ProposalsIf your parish is interested in the Community Bridge Building and Crisis Response grant offered by the Anglican Foundation please submit the application to the Synod Office for approval by the Diocesan Executive Council by August 15, 2026. |
