Here are some events that are happening across the diocese.
The Anglican Cemetery in Peace River is located on the same property as Bishop's Lodge and Malvern House. The tour is sponsored by the Peace River Museum and is a yearly event. If you are interested in learning more about the church's past you are welcome to join Maggie Weiler as she leads a group with interesting stories.

The next Diocesan Synod for the Diocese of Athabasca will be held October 15 - 18, 2026 in Peace River, Alberta.
October 15 & 18 - St. James Cathedral, Peace River - opening and closing services
October 16 & 17 - Chateau Nova, Peace River - business of synod
The keynote speaker for the synod is The Most Rev. Shane Parker, Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada.
