SIGNS AND GRACE
An Introduction to the Sacraments

The series is going to be held on the last Wednesday of September, October and November, starting at 7pm, on Zoom.  The course will be led by the Rev. Maryann Amor using materials prepared by Forward Movement.  Lay Readers are encouraged to attend.

Diocese of Athabasca
Diocesan Synod

The next Diocesan Synod for the Diocese of Athabasca will be held October 15 - 18, 2026 in Peace River, Alberta. 

 

October 15 & 18 - St. James Cathedral, Peace River - opening and closing services

October 16 & 17 - Chateau Nova, Peace River - business of synod

 

The keynote speaker for the synod is The Most Rev. Shane Parker, Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada.
