Online Bake Sale 2025
St. James Cathedral ACW, Peace River

Support the ACW and celebrate the season with delicious homemade Christmas treats!

For information on how to donate baking or purchase treats, please contact Rose Gish at wgish@telusplanet.net or 780-219-7183.

There are all kinds of items to offer or bake, including breads, jams, marmalades, cookies, squares, cakes, pies, fudge, and candies. Gluten-free and specialty treats are also welcome.

Pickup and exchange will be on Sunday, December 21, 2025, or by arrangement.

2026 APR Information Session
January 13, 2026 - 7:00 pm

There have been a few updates to the 2026 Annual Parochial Return (APR) that each parish is required to complete this year. During this session, we will review how to properly fill out the APR, as well as the T3010 and T1235 forms.

Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions.

Diocese of Athabasca
Diocesan Synod

The next Diocesan Synod for the Diocese of Athabasca will be held October 15 - 18, 2026 in Peace River, Alberta. 

 

October 15 & 18 - St. James Cathedral, Peace River - opening and closing services

October 16 & 17 - Chateau Nova, Peace River - business of synod

 

The keynote speaker for the synod is The Most Rev. Shane Parker, Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada.
