Prayer for the DioceseDear Lord, as the delegates to national synod prepare for their upcoming trip, we ask for Your protection over their journey. Whether they're traveling by car, boarding a plane, or simply walking down the street, we trust You to be with them. Keep them safe from harm, help then make wise decisions, and lead them safely home again. Let them be mindful of Your presence in every moment. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Prayer for Camp 2025 Heavenly Father, we ask for Your guidance and clear direction in the choices that all the planners of the TASTE Camp have to make concerning this gathering of people from across the diocese. Help them to plan into Your will and to be shown clearly the way that You would have this camp go. Give all a correct focus on the direction that You would have the camp take, and help those planning to plainly see what You have planned for this celebration. May all who attend the camp walk in a manner that is worthy of Jesus and live in spirit and truth, with their eyes and hearts focused on Christ and their will guided by the Holy Spirit. This we ask in Jesus' name, amen. |

Diocesan Camp 2025Dear Friends in Christ, This summer, the Diocese of Athabasca invites you to TASTE Camp 2025, happening July 31–August 3 at Camp Artaban. This joyful, barrier-free family camp will bring together people of all ages for a weekend of faith, fun, and fellowship. Our theme—TASTE: Trust, Act, See, Try, Explore—is inspired by Psalm 34:8: “Taste and see that the Lord is good!” Participants will enjoy meals, worship, music, crafts, outdoor adventures, and age-appropriate programming for children, youth, and adults. Special guests will be joining us to make this a truly memorable diocesan gathering. Please donate by June 28, 2025. There is a matching grant for the first $1000.00 donated to our camp.
