Prayer for the DioceseAlmighty God, whose Son was revealed in glory upon the holy mountain: We pray for the Diocese of Athabasca, that the light of the Transfiguration may shine in our hearts and brighten our northern lands. As you transform our lives, empower us to carry this radiance down from the mountaintop into our communities, parishes, and homes. Strengthen us to bear our crosses with hope, and grant that our voices may echo the truth of your Beloved Son, serving with courage and love in this, and every season. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. |
