Dear Bishop David,
While gathered with you at the House of Bishops in April, we received a remarkable phone call: a generous donor had pledged a $250,000 matching gift to support our partners whose life-changing programs are being decimated by USAID funding cuts. It couldn’t have come at a more critical time.
Now, with just under two weeks to go before the June 30 deadline, we are over 80% of the way there. We need to raise $42,000 more—and every dollar will be matched, doubling the impact.
I’ve been so encouraged by the ways you’ve already supported our Resilience campaign in your diocese—thank you. Your leadership is helping bring hope and healing to communities facing extraordinary challenges.
I would be grateful if you would consider sharing this bulletin insert with your parishes and inviting them to give generously. Their support will provide vital aid to refugees in Tanzania, nourish children in Burundi, and bring healing to survivors of gender-based violence in Uganda.
Here is a donation link to the Resilience Fund that can also be shared:

Thank you again for standing alongside our global partners in love and hope. I look forward to seeing you at General Synod.
In gratitude,
Carolyn
