Pray for the Diocese

Dear Lord, as our children begin a new school year, we pray that you will keep them in your care. Send your Holy Spirit to open their minds to all that is true, beautiful, and good. Help us all to see the gifts and talents you have given to us and help us to use them well. Help us to grow in knowledge and wisdom. Help us to be kind to others and lead others to be kind to each other. Give all teachers patience and understanding and help them teach what is just and true. Send your angels to guide and guard our children and to keep them from all harm. Open our hearts to your presence and enfold us in your peace and protection. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

Canadian Church Calendar Available to Order

The 2025 Canadian Church Calendar can be ordered from the website of the Anglican Church of Canada. To order your calendars please press the button below.

If you are interested in sharing an order with the Cathedral Parish of St. James please contact Sarah Craigen, Office Administrator, at stjamesadmin@telus.net or 780-625-4936. Please note: Sarah will be away for the month of September, she will place the order by October 10^th, 2024. The cost of the calendars will be $5.00 each plus GST and shipping.
