Bishop's Visit to Beaverlodge

The bishop was invited to Beaverlodge for the weekend.  He started out by visiting the booths at the 'Art Walk' festival in Beaverlodge on Friday afternoon.  Saturday was 'Tea with the Bishop' in the church hall where several people from the congregation showed up to have a chat and ask questions of the bishop.  Following that the bishop made a visit to the Beaverlodge Cultural Centre.  Sunday the bishop presided over the Eucharist service in which he installed the Rev. Don Thompson as the Regional Dean of the Diocese of Athabasca.  There was a wonderful lunch following the service.  

The bishop was impressed with all the work members of the congregation are doing to upgrade their kitchen.  It will look great and be very servicable when it is all done.  The hand made cupboards will be a delightful addition.
