Diocesan Family Camp 2026
The Diocese of Athabasca is proud to participate in Say Yes! to Kids 2026, raising funds to support youth and family ministry across our diocese.
At the heart of our efforts is our annual diocesan family camp—this year themed BUILD (Built Upon Incredible Love Daily). This camp brings children, youth, and families together from across our vast and often remote communities to grow in faith, friendship, and confidence.
Through shared worship, learning, and play, young people discover that they are wonderfully made, deeply loved, and called to build their lives on a strong foundation. They learn to use their gifts, support one another, and carry hope back into their home communities.
For many families, this camp is more than just a few days away—it is a rare and powerful opportunity to belong, to reconnect, and to experience the Church as a joyful, living community.
Led by Team Captain Benita Greenwood, our team is working to ensure that every child and youth who wants to attend can do so, regardless of financial barriers.
