Easter Weekend - St. Luke's, Fort Vermilion

This past weekend the bishop and his wife traveled to Fort Vermilion to take part in the Easter events happening at the parish of St. Luke's. On Saturday they met with some of the church leadership before being welcomed by the congregation with a potluck supper. Following the supper they were invited to a community event. The event was held in the community centre where another church put on a play about the true meaning of Easter. There were homemade hot cross buns and treats before the play and a brownie bar after the production. Sunday morning the bishop presided in the Easter Sunday Eucharist service. There was a lunch and visit after the service.
