On Saturday, November 24, 2024, the bishop led the deconsecration service at St. Paul’s church in Boyle.  The church was full of people who had participated in the many good times during the life of the congregation.  The building and all remaining objects were remitted back to the world during the service.  The people there took the opportunity to share experiences and what the church meant to them.  Eucharist was shared and following the service there was a lunch and a time to visit.  Many of the objects left in the church were gathered and donated to St. Andrew’s, Lac La Biche to help them as they prepare to re-open their building after a fire last year.
