Message from the Diocese of IBBA - A Prayer Request

Greetings to you and all the faithful at this lent time.  I hope this message finds you well. I write to invite your prayers for the work of our Mothers Union in the diocese  particularly the Diocesan Mothers Union Leader Mama Roda Tiuka. Mama Roda since her appointment as a diocesan leader has been experiencing challenges in her work that made her to came to my wife Mama Agnes Kamani  to seek piece of advice. She ( Mama Roda) said, the work of mothers union leaders in the Archdeaconries, Rural Deaneries and Parishes face  challenges in terms of  meetings. 

When Mothers Union leaders in the Archdeaconry, Deanery and Parishes are invited for meetings in the Mothers' Union Office, they don't turn up. When I try to ask for the factors, they always complain of lack of means of  transport to bring them to the office  and take them back. Last year 2024  there were no meetings held in the diocesan Mothers' Union office  she said. 

After having discussed it with Mama Agnes, the possible remedy which they suggested  is to improve the means of transport for Mothers Union leaders in our five archdeaconry, eight Deanery and Cathedral by providing a bicycle to said  offices to facilitate their movements to the head offices and Parishes. 

Please pray for the work of the mothers union leaders in the Diocese of Ibba.
