The Right Reverend Lesley Wheeler-Dame, Bishop of the Yukon

The Rev. Deacon Jamie McIlvenna has been working in the Yukon over the past three months and has been attending services at the Cathedral in Whitehorse during his time there.
He recently shared some wonderful photos from Bishop Lesley Wheeler-Dame’s final service at the Cathedral on October 19, 2025 — a joyful celebration that also marked Bishop Lesley’s 70th birthday. It was a meaningful and spirit-filled occasion for the Cathedral community.
Many will remember The Rt. Rev. Lesley Wheeler-Dame as the former incumbent of Northern Lights Parish in our diocese and the regional dean for the Athabasca Deanery.
