The following is a discussion between the Diocese of Athabasca and the Diocese of Ibba.
Dear + David,
Greetings from your brothers and sisters in Ibba. Ibba is fine but there is not enough rain here, people are complaining and we don't know what will happen in the next one and a half month. As you might have heard we are moving toward elections and the government in the national, states and counties are all dissolved and the government is being administered by caretakers. This is the time the Church should be salt and light to encourage the citizens, so, attached are our prayer items. I want to let you know that we are also praying for your diocesan synod on 15th October.
May God bless you.
+Wilson, thank you for this note, I have asked Mama Benita to share it across our diocese.
May there be an eruption of peace and completeness, health and wholeness across your land.
And, thank you for your prayers as well! I really appreciate them.
In Jesus’ name;
+David
Thank you + David for your query. The best case scenario is that there will be an eruption of peace and the worse case scenario is that there won't be a sustainable peace in our country soon.
As a Church what we do in Ibba is to promote relative peace in our area by being closer to them through get together meetings and try to encourage other nearby dioceses to emulate what we are doing.
Generally speaking, our country needs prayer for the forthcoming election.
