St. Andrew’s Pews Refurbished with Community Partnership

The congregation of St. Andrew’s, Lac La Biche, has been blessed to work in partnership with the ‘Lakeland Out of the Elements Shelter’, Lac La Biche to refinish the church pews that were damaged in the fire that affected our building.

This meaningful collaboration brought together members of our congregation and clients of the shelter, who generously contributed their time and skills to help restore these cherished pieces of our sanctuary. Special thanks go to Chad Franz of the shelter, Shirley Butler, People’s Warden at St. Andrew’s, Deacon Kevin and Kathryn Pederson, and everyone who contributed to making this a successful and rewarding endeavor.

While a few pews remain to be completed, the work done so far has been outstanding. A sincere thank-you as well to all those who provided the necessary tools to make the job possible. Your support and teamwork are deeply appreciated.
