Women's World Day of Prayer

The ladies of St. Helen’s, Fairview, together with other churches in Fairview, held a Women’s World Day of Prayer service on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Each year the Christian churches in Fairview gather to host an ecumenical service where everyone in the community is warmly invited and welcomed. When organizing the event, the parishes rotate the responsibilities for planning and leading the service.

This year the service was held at the Roman Catholic Church. St. Helen’s was responsible for choosing and inviting a guest speaker to participate in the service. The parish selected Benita Greenwood, who graciously accepted the invitation. She felt honoured to be asked to share in this meaningful time of prayer and fellowship with the wider Christian community.
