World of Gifts

At our PWRDF zoom meeting we discussed the importance of the work that is done around the world by PWRDF and how important our financial support is. The emails that are sent out monthly are a good resource for information to pass on to the congregations of the diocese. We talked about the ‘World of Gifts’ program and All Saints’ Athabasca has challenged all parishes to pick a gift from the catalogue and to have your congregation fund raise to send some long- term assistance to people in need. The Parish of Athabasca have taken on # 31, buy the whole barn, as our project. This will be our third year to do this. Please let me know what project your parish takes on.

As Christians we need to be aware of the importance of responding to those that suffer due to war, climate change and disasters. We need to do whatever we can to help those that are suffering.  Any questions anyone has about PWRDF can contact me, Rev. Terry Francis at tpfrancis@mcsnet.ca.
