Prayer for the Diocese
Summer is here Lord, still our hearts and minds, help us to breathe deeply and experience all that you have given us so far this year. Help us to recognise the good things which have grown around us, those things which not long ago were simply seeds, ideas and possibilities. Help us to notice the new relationships, the friendships that have blossomed, the richness of community and the joy of simply being with each other. Help us to let go, relax and let things be what they need to be, as we know that you will nurture them as you nurture us. Help us to slow down and resist the pressure to produce, to release the guilt that often comes with stopping and doing nothing, to value the small and fragile things with joy. Help us to value and care for this planet with which we are blessed, its climate, the ground on which we walk, the waters which we cross, the life on its surface, in its seas, lakes, rivers, and the air. Bless our travels and our rest, our families and friends, those we spend time with this summer and those we will miss. Bless the things we will let go of and the new things we will experience. Bless our earth and all that lives, grows and moves around us. May we feel the warmth of your love and the light of your grace as we stop doing and allow ourselves simply to be.
Prayer for Camp 2025 Gracious God, we give you thanks and praise for the beauty of creation and for the opportunity to gather together at the TASTE Camp 2025. We ask for your blessing on all who will be there, that they may find joy, friendship, and opportunities for spiritual growth. May your Holy Spirit be with everyone there, guiding their interactions, fostering unity, and inspiring them to love one another as you love us. Protect all from harm and help them to be a blessing to others. Protect them as they journey to and from the camp. We ask all this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. |

Those Registered for TASTE Camp 2025 Have Received an EmailAll those who have registered for TASTE Camp 2025 will have received an email with the following information. 1. Registration Information that includes the planned schedule and lists what you need to bring.
2. Map and directions on how to get to the camp.
3. List of the Afternoon Activities so you can see what is available during the free time and see if you need to bring anything.
If you were missed please contact the synod office by email (dioath@telusplanet.net) or phone (780-624-2767).
If you have not yet registered, it is not too late. Click on the Register Now button below. The registration form is at the bottom of the page. Save the file to your computer, fill in the file, then email a copy to the office. If you are having any problems with registering please contact Benita Greenwood at the synod office by email or phone.

Diocesan Camp 2025Dear Friends in Christ, This summer, the Diocese of Athabasca invites you to TASTE Camp 2025, happening July 31–August 3 at Camp Artaban. This joyful, barrier-free family camp will bring together people of all ages for a weekend of faith, fun, and fellowship. Our theme—TASTE: Trust, Act, See, Try, Explore—is inspired by Psalm 34:8: “Taste and see that the Lord is good!” Participants will enjoy meals, worship, music, crafts, outdoor adventures, and age-appropriate programming for children, youth, and adults.
