Prayer for the DioceseLord Jesus, steady the hearts of Your people as this season of Lent deepens. Help us understand who You are and who You are calling us to become. Give us courage to walk with You toward the cross without fear. Father, write Your truth deep within us. Replace our stubbornness with softness and our fears with trust. Prepare our hearts for what lies ahead in Holy Week. Gracious God, gather us in Your presence. Cleanse what is broken, renew what is weary, and unite us in worship. Let this time prepare us for the mystery of the cross. Amen.
Please pray for the Diocese of Yukon as they gather to discern and, God willing, elect the new Bishop. The election is this coming Saturday. There are two candidates: the Very Rev’d Vincent Fenga and the Rev’d Trevor Malyon. Please keep the candidates, their families, synod delegates and the Diocese in your prayers.

Synod Office - Spring 2026We have had a lot of snow this year. As the snow melts the water runs down the steps at the Synod office. At night it freezes and has left a waterfall of ice. We have salted and sanded but these are washed away with each new melt. We have closed off the stairs for the time being. If you arrive at the Synod office for a visit please call 780-624-2767 and someone will come let you in the basement door. |
