A Prayer of Thanksgiving

Almighty God,
Father of all mercies,
we thank You for Your goodness and love to us and to all people.

We thank You for making us, for keeping us safe,
and for all the blessings of this life.
Most of all, we thank You for the love You showed us
through Jesus Christ our Lord —
for our redemption, for the gift of grace,
and for the hope of everlasting life.

Help us, O Lord, to truly appreciate all Your blessings.
Make our hearts thankful,
and help us to show our gratitude —
not only in our words, but in how we live each day.

Teach us to serve You faithfully
and to walk in Your ways with love and joy,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.
