Creator God, we the children of your creation stand humbled as your grace is revealed before us, in the change of seasons and the promise in your Word given. Forgive us as we have failed you and Creation by losing sight of you and straying from the good road. Grant us courage to meet this day with open hearts that we can speak truthfully and go forward with bravery, knowing that your guiding hand and strength are with us. Bless us that we might be a blessing to others. In Jesus we pray.   Amen.

Not feeling well?  We have a solution.

Cold and flu season is upon us, and COVID persists in all its variations. Please remember that a minor infection for one person can be a major sickness for someone else, especially the more vulnerable members of our communities. If you are feeling unwell (ie. have a cough, runny nose, sore throat, chest congestion, fever...), let your parish (or us!) know, so we can pray for you.  And perhaps give yourself a break by staying home if you can — as we know, this also helps to prevent spreading germs to others.

St. John's United Anglican Parish is happy to report with much gratitude the use of purchased electronics (TV, Camera, Computer, Mic) for our services. We are able to connect / access many resources now , that enable us to continue to have Sunday services when minister services are unavailable at our church.

The bishop led the Sunday morning Eucharist service at St. Mark's, High Prairie on November 10, 2024.

The congregation of All Saints', Athabasca held their annual Silent Auction and Bake Sale on Friday, November 15, 2024.  They sent a few pictures to share.

The bishop was in Fort Vermilion for a few days to partake of a few celebrations.

Advent begins Sunday December 1. Did you know that Wycliffe College invites the community to make room together for the Christ? Every Sunday morning during Advent we email a short reflection written by students, Alumni, faculty members and friends of the College. Do sign up if you haven't already.
