Almighty and most merciful Father, you command the winds and the waves, and you have dominion over the storehouses of the snow.  We humbly ask for your protection during the storms of this life and the storms of nature. We pray for our diocese as the snow arrives.

• Keep safe all who must travel and work outdoors during the storm.
• Strengthen first responders, medical workers, and utility crews as they serve our community.
• Shield those who face the cold without adequate shelter and warm those who are in need.

Remind us to be good neighbors to one another, sharing warmth, resources, and kindness.
Deliver us from all perils, and turn our fear of your power into praise for your goodness; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
